       The symbol laden, parentheses ornamented, sign decorated syntax which characterizes the Ambient Folk printing style, is an intimate dance between what Ezra Pound classified as Phanopoeia, Melopoeia & Logopoeia.  
      This dynamic tension between how a text presents, when it sounds & what it means, is as much about rhythm as it is about image.  The codeX-typeography is an aesthetic technique designed to move w/ the cognition rate of information processing, in terms of blocks of data, buffered into categories; entering the minds eye as conceptual elements in a higher order configuration.  This method is an attempt to engage & inter-phase with the ¨auditory imagination¨- tapping instinct & intuition as the momentum of meanings compound & are multiplied, through function enriched intervals in the printed sequence.
      The para-syntax, typography tactics of CamelCased words in mosaic molded, assembly line, frieze/relief, etched font lines; theses sculpted & chiseled augmentations of print, unite style with strategy; generating figure/ground interaction; creating syncopated shifts of stress in the visual field- modulating stream of consciousness in a musical way.  Encoding text by setting into motion this algebraic overlay of font & type formula is a way of weaving together picture <w/>
rhythm, as accent & stress enrich meter & cadence- fleeting symmetries in undulating ratios are resolved as the intrinsic tempo of the line unfolds.  When Perception & Cognition are Synchronized symbols & signs dissolve into thought beats, completing circuits in a spiral; as our mental machinery is entrained by the pull of a greater Notion, functioning as a higher attractor; revealing an {[( IdeA )]}  through the mind’s Ear- w/iN <theE> Visionary space <0f> imaginative synthesis.

     This kinetic & dynamic play of glyph & syntax is deepened & enhanced by using core concepts & song titles specific to the Ambient Folk Project, like ’Phase Tide Frames’ & ´Fire Waves’.  These memes are transposed into different registers as they project their impressions through changing contexts.  In the case of a song like {[( Where )]}; the idea of ‘Where’ deals in a Hegelian insight, expressing <the> ImPerMaNenT FLuX <0f> experience as being the truth of any & all reality, as (( N0W )) is an ever changing, Heraclitean river of moving moments: elemental energies, primary forces, ancestral influences, ghostly presences, terrestrial transmissions & astral reflections.
